I renamed the HSS to ACS, it will be the new name from now on.
HSS --> Health State System
ACS --> Advanced Combat System
The HSS/ACS is the combat system I created to improve the gaming experience on my mods.
The first version was developped for USCM to create a difference between each weapon, so that a new process to manage the Health.
But first it was developped for the Ship Combat System, following that, I made it for the Ground Combat System also.
The first version possessed 3 attributes:
Health/Stamina/Mind
With their own effects depending of the damage taken on them.
I only kept Health as it was too much for a single character..
aww..My Health is damaged, I bleed! My Stamina is damaged, I can't move quickly! My Mind is damaged, I flee..in the wrong way!
This system enable a wound and state management depending of your damage level.
The armors also have two new attributes: Impact Armor, and Balistic Armor.
The protection level against melee attack, and ranged attack.
I wanted to create much more Armor Attributes and Types of Damage, like Energy, Heat, Plasma, Radio,..
But that was just too much
I ported the HSS on Conan Hyborian Adventure and adapted it to this mod.
As this mod has a few ranged weapons and a lot of melee weapons, I only kept one Armor Attribute.
I also developped an Armor Damaging System.
Each armor possessing some Structure Points that lower when taken damage.
As the SP lower, your armor is less efficient.
Obviously, you can repair your armor...
The final version I made on Legend of the Five Rings is the most advanced of all.
Adapted on the L5R Rules, it can have a
LOT of possibilities and functions.
