TOMB OF SILENT DEATH
Difficulty:- Medium
Hostiles:- Skeletons [Archaic armor and weaponry such as swords and bows]
- Zombies [Slow, Tough]
- Wraith [Magical armor, Powerful melee attack, Shadow Magic]
Traps:- Frag and Anti-Armor Mines, Spike Traps
Comments:- That's an arena where using a melee weapon is not a bad thing, indeed you may find firearms useful against opponents seeking close combat, but don't expect to find ammo for those.
Instead, using bows and crossbows might be a good idea.
Among the foes you will encounter, Zombies are not much of a threat. They are tough and might soak much bullets before falling down once and for good, but they are quite slow and don't have any ranged attacks.
Skeletons might be dangerous at time, they've got a wide range of armors, ranged weapons, melee weapons, and even shields. Don't underestimate them because they use archaic stuff.
Finally, the most powerful foe you'll find is the Wraith. Wraith are Shadow Casters, so they'll cast spells at you unless you close for melee. If you engage them in melee combat, they'll sport a Wraith Scythe, and you will painfully discover what it is. They also are protected by Magic.
Since all your foes are Undead, they are immune to Unconsciousness.
Apart of the usual mines, the arena is full of Spike Traps, your feet will love them.
The arena configuration is a bit particular, as you can see the only access to the Ball Zone is from the Bridge Area to the West. That's a quite exposed area, and snipers will enjoy it. You might also find yourself stuck in the middle of a swarm of undead.
This arena is very dark, and bringing some light might be useful.
